Melbourne Cinémathèque

This is a pitch proposal for the Melbourne Cinémathèque 2022 Season, a not-for-profit film organisation that screens ‘rare and significant’ films.

I decided to build the identity around the asterisk, which often alludes to more information, clarifies an idea or indicates the need for further exploration. In this instance, it indicates additional information the audience will discover for themselves through the films. This entire systems acts as an invitation for the viewer to unearth more through Cinémathèque.
